In 1973 the pastor of a small Baptist Church in Pineville, La., Rev. Bob Galloway, joined with a group of state pastors and laymen in representing an old established church insurance company interested in coming to Louisiana. Preferred Risk Mutual Insurance Company, a national leader in the church insurance market, ventured into Louisiana with six agents in 1973. Our agency, Galloway Insurance Agency, was born out of this initial launch, with a ministry of helping churches understand and find affordable insurance coverage. We are the premier LOUISIANA CHURCH INSURANCE agency and chose this new name, LA CHURCH INSURANCE, but our original mission remains our focus today...help churches find affordable insurance. our church's insurance partner to help you manage church risk and avoid claims.
